How can you start to build a strengths-based organisation?

The Momentum Architects’ work to introduce a strengths-based approach to the team. What this means is:

1) the individual gains a better understanding of how they naturally approach tasks and situations (an understanding which when applied can be used to achieve more and enhance performance), and

2) they also gain a greater understanding of co-workers (which can remove areas of frustration).

The sessions include a combination of the unique model used by the Momentum Architects which covers what we call ‘life set, stress set and strengths set’.

There are also built-in accountability tools to ensure that the momentum continues and the whole team embrace a strengths-based approach.

Programs are tailored to meet organisational objectives and timeframes but in-house sessions include a combination of ‘life set’, ‘stress set’ and ‘strengths set’.

Life set = setting the foundation to embrace a growth mindset, enhancing self-awareness and starting to unlock untapped areas of potential. 

Stress set = understanding how to utilise stress in its positive form, recognising key triggers and techniques to combat negative stress and reframing strategies. 

Strengths set = building awareness around individual talents, addressing cognitive biases and highlighting how a strengths-based approach can impact team development, productivity and performance. 

The Momentum Architects’ preferred profiling tool is the CliftonStrengths assessment (although others may be used in conjunction with this depending on program objectives). 

This is because we have found it to have the greatest impact. It quickly establishes a common language amongst the team and best bridges the gap between theory and practical application to make it a powerful tool in team development.
