You know those people who always seem to be at the top of their game, always have everything together and don’t ever seem to be sitting still? Today’s guest is one of those… she’s what I call a true momentum maker. She knows what she wants and she sure as hell goes and makes it happen.
Lauren Beaufils is the founder of Attention Marketing, a subscription-based marketing agency that delivers done for you packages for small and medium sized business. She is also the founder of the Illawarra Young Professionals, a networking group on the south coast.
In recent years she was also appointed as an Australian delegate for the International Youth Leaders assembly at the United Nations headquarters in New York, and helped co-found the South Coast Youth Leadership Forum to help combat youth unemployment.
She graduated the University of Wollongong with a Bachelor of Commerce, was appointed a Rare Birds Ambassador, received the young achiever highly commended award at the Illawarra Women in Business awards and is a member of the Royal Australian Navy Reserves public relations unit.
BUT… despite all of this success and all of these achievements, Lauren has suffered down times. She’s suffered the burnout and struggled through lack of motivation.
In this episode we cover sooooo many topics from:
- Mindset, mental health and how to come back from burnout (something we all need to be super mindful about at the moment with everything going on)
- How her time with the UN helped her to implement grass roots development and initiatives in regional Australia that are still seeing the benefit now
- How the world will reshape and how we will now view the traditional concept of workplaces post-coronovirus
- And Lauren’s top productivity hacks on upping the motivation levels and how discovering the Yerkes-Dodson Law around stress and performance changed her life
So strap on in and enjoy the interview with this fascinating lady!… oh and did I mention she’s only 27!
